Robin D.G. Kelley keeps popping up in things I read. The first thing I read by him was a history on black women radicals in the civil rights movement. Then my partner bought me his biography on Thelonius Monk. Then I found out he wrote the introduction to Black Marxism.
He’s an interesting fellow.
