I finished watching Battlestar Galactica about a month ago, and I’ve been thinking on and off about Starbuck’s character and I think she got a raw deal when it comes to the end.

Starbuck dies in the third season finale and comes back as the harbinger of “death” in the fourth. And she leads everyone to new earth in the series finale. So, yay, she triumphs but then she just disappears since she’s really dead and the harbinger of death is no longer needed. Like what? Her death in season 3 had no real meaning other than to bring the harbinger. Then when the harbinger is no longer needed, her character gets no real resolution? She doesn’t get to live out her life? That sucks. So yeah, I don’t like how they did her ending. :/
