So, I was writing the event description thinking that the speakers were LGB. Then, when I sent out the email saying that the speakers would be talking about “their personal experiences” my boss shot me back saying to change the description to “these recruiters will talk about the opportunities for LGB…”
Then I realized both their job titles are chief of recruiting.

Why, if it has nothing to do with LGBT issues, are we allowing them to speak? Why?
